Application :
• Used in heavy duty medium voltage service as a power supply cable for mobile and portable mining equipment, loaders, drag lines, shovels, dredges and drills, where flex life is required, and for systems that require an internal ground check conductor for added safety.
• Type SHD-GC is for applications up to 5,000 volts and temperatures from -40°C to +90°C
Structure :
• Conductors ：6awg thru 500kcmil annealed tinned coated copper conductor, bunched wires, rope-lay-stranded per ASTM
• Conductor Shield ：Extruded thermosetting semi-conducting stress control layer over conductor
• Insulation : Ethylene propylene Rubber (EPR)
• Insulation Shield : A flexible coated copper/textile braid shield is applied over non-conducting overlapped
• Ground Check Conductor : Annealed tinned coated copper, rope-lay-stranded per ASTM B172, insulated with high-strength yellow polypropylene.
• Ground Conductor : Annealed tinned coated copper, rope-lay-stranded per ASTM B172. Two conductors in contact with the flexible copper braid shield.
• Separator : Polyamide open braid applied
• Jacket : Flame retardant, thermosetting Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE).
